The HIGH SCRIBBLER was a newspaper published monthly as an extra-curricular activity by the students of Watertown High School. Many issues from the years 1954 through 1959 are missing, but some of the survivors are contained in the PDF images below.
The first mention of the Hi Scribbler was in the March 21, 1947, issue of the Orbit yearbook.
A new activity which gives excellent experience in journalism to the members of the staff is the birth of our new school newspaper, "Hi Scribbler". The faculty advisor, Mr. Hanish, having taken great patience with its development, is responsible foor its success.
