She was the daughter of James O'Toole of Ohio and Johanna McMulken of Illinois. Celia is buried in the Norton Cemetery, Norton, Norton Co., KS. Jason served in the U.S. Army in WWI as a Corporal. Jason and Celia had two daughters. The oldest daughter died just days prior to Rosemary's birth, and Celia died a few days later. They may have been in either an auto accident or a cart accident. Jason then married Hilda E. (Unknown) in 1926 or 1927 in Kansas. Hilda E. Cecilia Anna (O'Toole) Krause died September 10, 1922, in the City of Norton, Center Twp., Norton Co., KS, at about age 33. Faced with the option of either putting Rosemary up for adoption or having her raised by her maternal grandparents, Jason decided to have Rosemary stay with family.
