Bohlin was born September 5, 1917, in Wyoming and died October 30, 2000, in Seattle, King Co., WA at age 83. She is the daughter of Emil Helge (Edward H.) Bohlin of the Village of Vinstrassa, near Örebro, Sweden and Leana Maria Freeberg of Pompey's Pillar, MT. Volney Llewellyn Pinkerton and Lillian H. Bohlin were married April 11, 1936, at the Church of the Open Door, Seattle, King Co., WA. Volney Llewellyn Pinkerton and Lillian H. (Bohlin) Pinkerton had two children.

A private family interment will be held at Acacia Memorial Park in Seattle.
