Stevens Point Daily Journal, - Stevens Point, WI, September 7, 1954 Frank J. Polly A former town of Buena Vista farmer, Frank J. Polly, 72, Died Monday at 3:45 p. m. at his home in Waupaca. Mr. Polly, a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Polly, was born in Buena Vista on June 7, 1882, and farmed on the Polly homestead until moving to a farm in the town of Waupaca in 1921. Since 1943 he has lived in the city of Waupaca. Survivors are his wife; a son, Henry, town of Waupaca; four daughters, Mrs. Ted Girard and Mrs. Clifford Hales, Waupaca, Mrs. William Lutz, Waukesha, and Mrs. Ben Zblewski, Stevens Point, Route 1; a sister, Mrs. Joseph Rader, Waupaca; a brother, Phillip Polly, Stevens Point, Route 1; 21 grandchildren and five great grandchildren. His parents and two brothers preceded him in death. Mr. Polly was an honorary member of Council 1170, Knights of Columbus, Stevens Point, and a member of the Holy Name society of St. Mary Magdalen Catholic church, Waupaca. Funeral services will be held at St. Mary Magdalen church Thursday morning at 9:30. Rev. D. L. Krembs will officiate and burial will follow in the parish cemetery.

On January 6, 1933 he was living in Amherst when he married at Weyauwega, WI to Meta (Armstrong) Cavanaugh of Amherst Junction. Meta (Armstrong) (Schollard) (Cavanaugh) Armon was born June 25, 1886 in Wisconsin and died February 1978 in Waupaca, Waupaca Co., WI at age 91. In 1920, Rhinelander, Meta Schiller, daughter of James L. Armstrong of Illinois and Winifred (Unknown) of Wisconsin. James' grandchildren: Nora Schollard (age 9) Montana; James Schollard (age 6) Montana; and John Schollard (age 4-3/12) Minnesota; and Helen Schiller (age 1-3/12) Wisconsin. John Schollard died February 25, 1916 in Dakota Co., MN. John G. Schollard born September 19, 1915 in Minnesota, enlisted May 13, 1942 living in Wisconsin enlisted in Illinois. Died January 18, 2003 in Salina, Saline Co., KS (age 87). James W. Schollard born March 10, 1913 in Minnesota; Died September 6, 1995 in King, Waupaca Co., WI (age 82).duane Nora Roberta Schollard married Glenn Erick Frisk. William K. Armon was born October 5, 1929 in Wisconsin and died October 22, 1989 in Santa Clara Co., CA at age 60.
