About midnight her husband awoke and found her breathing heavily. He attempted to wake her but without avail, and immediately called assistance and a physician, but before either could arrive the vital spark had fled. Heart trouble is ascribed as the cause of her sudden and unexpected demise. The funeral services were held at the United Presbyterian church Tuesday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock, ,Rev. G. G. Wilson, the pastor, preached the sermon from the text, "My times are in thy hand." The church choir furnished excellent music. The remains accompanied by numerous relatives and friends, were borne to Glen cemetery where they were interred with customary burial rites. The floral emblems, while not numerous, were very pretty, and expressive of of the sympathy of the community for the relatives in their sudden and deep bereavement. SUDDEN DEATH.

Thos. Trimble, who has resided with the family of his father-in-law, A. R. Bicket, since the death of his wife, died very unexpectedly this morning. On Friday last he was taken with the prevailing grip, which developing into double pneumonia, complicated with urinal trouble, ended his life. He was thought to be better at 7 o'clock but a change for the worse carried him off within an hour. Mr. Trimble was an old citizen of Paxton and highly respected for his honesty and industry, and, while never prominently identified with public affairs, will be mourned by many who valued him for his sterling worth. The time of the funeral cannot be announced at present as friends from a distance are expected.
