The Sioux City Journal, Sioux City, IA, Friday, June 27, 1930 RESIDENT HERE 45 YEARS DIES Patrick Francis Keating Succumbs to Long Illness Patrick Francis Keating, 71 years old, died Thursday afternoon in his home at 1038 Twenty-seventh street following an illness of several months. He had been a resident of Sioux City the last 45 years. Mr. Keating was born in Bristol, Pa., June 14, 1859. He was a member of the Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers and the Catholic Order of Foresters. Survivors include: The widow, Mrs. Martha Keating; three sons, William, Vincent and Merritt Keating, all of Sioux City; two daughters, Margaret Keating of Sioux City and Mrs. R. G. Frost, of Kansas City, Mo.; a brother, Marting Keating, of San Francisco, and a sister, Mrs. Hannah Conway of Fort Lee, N. J. The body is at Larkin's funeral home.
