He is possibly the son of Robert Hamilton and Mary A. (Unknown), both born about 1791 in Pennsylvania. Buried in Wenatchee City Cemetery, Wenatchee, Chelan Co., WA. Rebecca Jane Blake was born December 31, 1826, in Martinsburg, Bedford (Blair) Co., PA, and died January 4, 1908, in the City of Kimball, Brule Co., SD, at age 81 years 4 days. She is the daughter of Burdine Blake Sr. of Washington Co., MD, and Mazey Ann Simpkins of Hagerstown, Washington Co., MD. She is buried in Kimball City Cemetery, City of Kimball, Brule Co., SD. Section A, Lot 2, Block 64, Grave 6. There is a C. J. McKitrich marker at Lot 2, Block 64 with no burials. Jacob Hamilton and Rebecca Jane Blake were married about 1849 in Pennsylvania.
