In 1941 C. T., Dollie and June Abbey went to California and stopped in
Odessa, Texas to see Mr. Abbey's brother, Erwin. It turned out that Erwin was in
very poor financial circumstances and was in bed very sick, perhaps with
pneumonia. Mr. Abbey, Dollie and June went on to California and when they came
back through Odessa to see how Erwin was getting along they discovered that he
had died, and Mr. Abbey took care of the funeral. Mr. Abbey had always been very
devoted to Erwin. Mr. Abbey was a very sensitive person but he would never
express his feelings but you could tell how deeply affectionate he was to people
in general and to many particular people such as his brother Erwin.
About 1962, Edna moved to Las Vegas, Nevada.
Erwin and his wife Edna Hyde had one
daughter, Ruth, who lived in Las Vegas, Nevada. She came to Mr. Abbey's 90th
birthday party in San Antonio.

Home of Luverne directing. Survivors include her husband Ray Boggs; parents,
Jerone (Sonya) Owens of Brantley, and Jean Mullins of Wing; one sister, Macy
Elizabeth Owens of Brantley; two brothers, Clinton Jerone (Melissa) Owens, Jr.
and Judsen Garrett Owens, both of Brantley; mother-in-law, Wilma Ingalls and
father-in-law, Donnie Howell, both of Brantley. The family will receive friends
at the Funeral Home Saturday from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m.

Alice Faye Bolding,
61, a resident of Greenville died Monday, January 5, 2009.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Friday, January 9, 2009 at the
Chapel of Turner Funeral Home with Rev. Bernie Enzor
officiating.
Interment will follow in the Ebenezer Cemetery with Turner
Funeral Home of Luverne directing.
Mrs. Bolding is survived by four children, Eva (Ron) Bass, Donna
(Mark) Lowery and James C. (Lisa) Bolding all of Greenville and
Eric Bolding of Texas; ten grandchildren, Alisha Taylor, Ashley
Shirley, Tonya Pitts, Corey Lowery, Tiffany Bolding, Will
Bolding, Chris Bolding, Jasmine White, Lindsay Bolding and Camie
Bolding; six great grandchildren, Austin Cowles, Bobby Brooks,
Kenny Shirley, Johnnie Pitts, Jr., Kayle Bolding and Casey
Albert; one sister, Wilma (Donnie) Ingalls; and one brother,
Benny Deal.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday,
January 8, 2009 from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m.
