William and Mary had at least three children:

Married (2) about 1855 in Wisconsin to Abigail (Loveless) Hand: Born July 6, 1792, in  Cornwall Twp., Orange Co., NY; Died April 22, 1890, at home in Minnesota Junction, Dodge Co., WI (age 97 years, 9 months and 17 days).
  2. Mary Ann Searle: Born March 20, 1807 in Mevagissey, County Cornwall, England; Died Unknown. She was Baptized 1823 in Megavissey, County Cornwall, England.
  3. Thomas Searle: Born September 25, 1808, in St. Austell, County Cornwall, England; Died Unknown.

William Searle was a Sergeant (using the title of "Lord") in the 2nd Regiment, Cornwall Militia. This may explain why a family bible shows him with the title of "Lord".
