Andrew and Amanda had one child, who took the name of Larson due to the desertion of the father:

  1. Oscar Charles Dahlberg Larson: Born December 7, 1884 in Wisconsin; Died February 1968 in the City of Chicago, Cook Co., IL (age 83).

Apparently Andrew deserted Amanda, and she then married Louis Anderson.

Louis and Amanda were married about 1894 in St. Paul, Ramsey Co., MN.

Also living there are: Oscar Anderson (age 10) born in Wisconsin with both parents foreign born; Nels Froberg (age 30) born in Sweden with both parents foreign born, and having lived in Minnesota for 8 years and having lived in this district for 2 months, who is a Laborer; and Oscar Johnson (age 21) born in Sweden with both parents foreign born, and having lived in Minnesota for 8 years and having lived in this district for 2 months, who is a Laborer.

Census taken on June 6, 1900 shows Louis Anderson (age 39) born November 1860 in Sweden to Swedish-born parents and having emigrated in 1882 and a Naturalized citizen is a Day Laborer renting his home at 698 De Soto Street, 1st Ward, City of St. Paul, Ramsey Co., MN.  Living with him is his wife of five years, Amanda A. Anderson (age 38) born March 1862 in Sweden to Swedish-born parents and having emigrated in 1882, with all three of the children born to her still alive. Also living there are his children, all born to Swedish-born parents: Oscar C. Larson (age 15) born December 1884 born in Wisconsin; Arthur W. Anderson (age 4) born March 1896 in Minnesota; and Ester A. A. Anderson (age 2) born November 1897 in Minnesota. Also living there is Emma Anderson (age 27) born September 1872 in Minnesota to Swedish-born parents, who owns her own home free of a mortgage, who is a Button Hole Maker. Living with him is Amanda A. Anderson (age 43) born in Sweden to Swedish-born parents and having lived in Minnesota for 15 years and having lived in this district for 9 years, who is a House Wife. Three Anderson children are living there, all born in Minnesota to Swedish-born parents: Arthur W. Anderson (age 9) and having lived in Minnesota for 9 years and having lived in this district for 9 years; Esther A. He emigrated from Sweden in 1882 and was a naturalized citizen. Living with him is his wife of fifteen years, Amanda Anderson (age 49) born in Sweden and emigrating in 1882. All four of Amanda's children are living. Children in the home, all born in Minnesota, are: Arthur W. Anderson (age 14); Aster A. Anderson (age 12); and Lousila Anderson (age 7). Two other adults were also living there. 

The 1920 U. S. Census taken on January 6, 1920 shows Louis Anderson (age 59) born in Sweden is a Court House Janitor renting his home at 693 De Soto Street, St. Paul, Ramsey Co., MN. He emigrated from Sweden in 1882 and was naturalized in 1892. Living with him is his wife Amanda Anderson (age 58) born in Sweden, emigrating in 1882 and a naturalized citizen. Three unmarried children are living at home, all born in Minnesota, are: Arthur Anderson (age 22), a Steamfitter in a Foundry; Esther A. Anderson (age 22), a Milliner at a Millinery Store; and Lucille Anderson (age 17), a Telephone Operator at a Telephone Company.
