Owing to the absence of the prosecuting witness, the case against Homer Earl, who is charged with larceny, was continued in Circuit Judge Morrow's court yesterday and Earl was released in the custody of his sister, Mrs. Ethel Tempest, who lives near Oregon City. Earl is accused of having taken $310 from Sam Belch in a Portland rooming-house.
