Eliza Lorinda Abbey was born July 3, 1861 in Clarke Twp., Durham Co., Canada West and died after 1911 in Unknown. She was the daughter of Oliver Nathaniel Abbey of Hope Twp., Durham Co., Ontario, Canada and Elizabeth Jones of Clarke Twp., Durham Co., Ontario, Canada.

James and Eliza were married 1887 in Canada.

James and Eliza had four children:
