Methodist and born in Ontario, Canada: Lewis Abby (age 22) a Lawyer; Linda Abby (age 19); Martha Abby (age 18); and Hattie Abby (age 13). George and Clara were married January 2, 1888 in Newcastle, Durham Co., Ontario, Canada. George and Clara either divorced or separated before 1901. The 1901 Canadian Census shows Martha Hooper (age 35) born November 14, 1865 in Ontario is a single Dressmaker boarding with the Thomas Georgecroft family in the City of Toronto (West), Ontario, Canada.
